Why do normal baseball caps feel so hot?
Dense cotton and foam-front truckers trap heat against the scalp—the “oven on your head” people describe on runner forums. This blank uses honeycomb mesh plus dense laser-punched vents so heat and moisture can leave instead of stewing.
Will this stop sweat running into my eyes?
It will not replace a race-day sweatband for every athlete, but it avoids the foam sponge problem. Light poly + spandex mesh (~75g) dries fast and stays less sticky than cotton or foam fronts on humid days.
Is this cap waterproof or rainproof?
No—and that is intentional. The outer honeycomb mesh has no water-repellent coating: it absorbs water, so this is not rain gear. The open mesh prioritizes airflow and drying during sweaty efforts, while an internal brow barrier helps reduce perspiration bleeding through the front logo zone.
I get headaches from tight caps. Is the fit adjustable?
Yes. A black Velcro adjuster plus stretch mesh lets you dial pressure instead of living with plastic snapback notches that dig in. Fits head circumference about 55–60cm.
Does it actually protect from the sun?
UPF50+ shade on a sports silhouette—face shade without forcing a floppy sun hat. The flexible film brim holds its curve outdoors so coverage does not collapse mid-day.
Can I pack it for travel without killing the brim?
