Outmora’s cap stays cooler because the crown is honeycomb polyester-spandex mesh with no foam front, and the finished cap weighs about 75 grams.
What is different from a foam trucker
- No foam front panel, so sweat is not held against the forehead.
- Honeycomb mesh plus a punched back, so air moves through the crown.
- About 75 grams, light enough to pack and still hold a brim shape.
- UPF 50+ on the cap, with a firm brim rather than a floppy sun hat.
- Velcro adjuster sized for a 55–60 cm head, instead of a rigid snapback.
The crown is one molded piece, so it can fold into luggage and spring back. The logo sits on a seamless field, which is why a proof is required before decoration.
Who this construction is for
It is built for teams, race kits, and outdoor crews who have used hot foam truckers or tight snapbacks. It is not a winter wool cap, and it is not sold outside the United States.
See the construction on the design studio and the fit notes on the FAQ.
